Pastor Jim was elected senior pastor of Life Church in the summer of 2000 after returning home to co-pastor with his father in 1996. Prior to this, he served as pastor of Life Southwest in Houston for six years. Before settling into full-time ministry he attended college in Houston and Mississippi. He has been married to Nancy for nearly 25 years and they have three children, James, Benjamen, and Lace.

Pastor Jim is a powerful communicator/leader who shares his love for Jesus Christ in a personal, loving manner. His passion to reach the lost is seen and felt in his vision for Life Church, which includes our local Southbelt community and reaches as far as the Philippines where he is leading the effort to build the Ima's Home for Children orphanage set to open near Manila in 2012.
